Got to love those priorities

I got an award at work today for "performance above beyond ....." and received a certificate and prize - a really good proze too because it was free movie tickets. When I got home and showed my children, all they could get excited about were some fancy-looking highlighters pens that some rep had given me at work. No matter how much I tried to draw their attention away from the pens it failed.

Lesson: fancy pens are far more important than recognition from your peers and manager! :-)
