Watchmen in saturation mode
The New York Times reports that as a promo for Watchmen we will be getting:
1. Tales of the Black Freighter five days after Watchmen opens - about the 10th march 2009 then? It will be animated after the costs of the live action version looked like costing US$20 million+
2. That same disk will also have Under the Hood in documentary-style
3. Twelve 22- to 26-minute Webisodes featuring a panel-by-panel slide show of the graphic novel called The Watchmen Motion Comic, all narrated by an actor (Jeffrey Dean Morgan's got my vote already)
4. Oh and apparently there's some other movie called Watchmen too!
Going to be an impressive swag of stuff if they all see the light of day. Let's just hope that, as glorious as this all sounds, that they haven't spread themselves too thin!
