In biographies of Peter Coyote, there is often a passing reference to him living in a commune, but little else is said. As I am watching Commune, a documentary about Black Bear Commune, who should be one of the participants but Peter Coyote! It really was an unusual place and one of the few that has endured for more than a generation or two.
