NaNoWriMo Day nineteen

Today's count was 2899 words for a total of 31526.

WOOHOO!

Now only 147 behind target and still more plot revealing itself!

Another WOOHOO!

Kick Ass! That's a huge chunk.

What was even better is that the plot is appearing as fast as I can write it - the plotting I did on Saturday has just expanded the story out enormously.

Not that I've done it yet but if I skip way ahead and write that, even though it doesn't fit with the rest of the story so far written (but has the same characters etc), can that count in the Nanowrimo count? I've just got some good ideas for later in the book and I really don't want to lose those ideas - but I don't want to be writing when that won't count for Nano.

As far as I'm concerned it all counts.

Now that's good news - I've got some really vivid ideas about some later events. If they count too, I may just manage a monster count in the next few days!

In fact, the scene I am thinking of is the very first idea I had for this story and where everything else has flowed from - despite the fact that the Terrible Trio (they're not really called that, I swear!) have taken over the early stages of the story.

Good for you, [livejournal.com profile] catalyst2! And if you have a good scene in your head, I'd write it down before you lose it.

I've done a bit of that now so at least the bare bones of some of those scenes are written - not especially coherently, I might add, but they are down.
