More than just a tidbit this time
A really chunky (yeah, yeah, move along, I know I am vocabulary-ly challenged) interview with Joss on BtVS S8 is up at EW.com.
Rather than little tidbits of past interviews, this one has lots of info in it.
Please excuse the vast excess of capitals but this fanboy really is shouting - too much sugar late in the day again!
1. 25 - 30 issues - WOOHOO!
2. Panel on page 2 - oooh mean Buffy! But it does look good!
3. Not that it is any surprise, but to hear Joss say that the TV movies really are dead is just a little sad.
4. panel on page 3 - action Buffy this time - and it still looks good.
5. "there are different camps across the world being run by various characters that fans will know" - Faith/Wood, Andrew/Giles, Kennedy/Willow maybe?
6. panel on page 4 - not sure what she is wearing - but it looks good yet again.
7. Xander - dealing with Anya's death but not in the way we think. Hmmm, the plot thickens.
8. Buffy - "Buffy is in an odd place at a different part of her life" - yet more thickening of the plot
9. panel on page 5 - Buffy using a cross the way only Buffy could! Still looks great though!
10. Angel and Spike - to be used sparingly - which, imo, is good. This is BUFFY S8 after all, not Angel S6.
11. No NFA resolution - I'm OK with that - if I have the timeline right this starts pretty much around the start of AtS S5 any way.
12. Willow - "Well, what Willow is up to is not revealed right away, but she will show up". Good to see that it won't simply be the gang sitting in the library ... er, Magic Shop ... er, Buffy's house like old times.
Nothing new up at The Kaba Lounge yet - I thought some of the artwork in the story might have been up there in hi-res versions?
I'm so excited, I could just wet ...... Damn! Back soon!
