Was 28 Years Later ever really an option?

FOX Atomic is cutting back on their horror productions so 28 Months Later and 28 Years Later both look under threat. Didn't even know that they were seriously considering making either so I'm not too surprised!

I'm not the least bit saddened by this. Had 28 Weeks Later been as good as I had hoped I might have been but now. Ha, no more movies, less torment for me to watch.

You didn't like 28 Weeks Later? I thought it was OK but for two three four things:
1. The setup was clumsy - the virus was always going to appear via a carrier
2. How the hell does Robert Carlyle (forgotten his character's name)keep finding his children - has he got an additional teleportation virus?
3. So your bunker-of-last-resort is completely unprotected - remind me never to be rescued by you guys again!
4. How the hell does a janitor have a pass to the entire "camp", including high security areas which are also conveniently unguarded?

I did want to see the next installment even if it was just to see how the far the virus spread and just how fast
